    Dr. Rebecca Reeves

    B.H.Sc., B.App.Sc (Osteopathy)
    Registered Osteopath

Rebecca’s history of professional classical ballet training, completed at Ellison ballet school in NYC, and calisthenics, where she is a 3 time national solo winner and has been a member of 7 national winning teams, is what led to her interest in Osteopathy. This is due to the whole-body approach to treatment and management of the injuries she was sustaining whilst at the peak of her training. Taking this one step further, Rebecca continued her interest in how the human body functions optimally, and how to maintain this, by undertaking extensive further studies in clinical Pilates. Rebecca’s treatment is focused on the individual patient, utilising techniques most suitable for them and with the aim of guiding patients back to doing what they enjoy most.

In her spare time Rebecca still enjoys participating and coaching Calisthenics and ballet, walking her dog or going out to enjoy Melbourne’s many restaurants with friends and family.

    Jasmine Izumi

    Dip. Rem. Massage
    Remedial Massage Therapist

I have always wanted to reach out and assist others, and uplift them, and massage has felt like the perfect way to do this.  Maybe this is a natural consequence of my cultural background, being born in Thailand and learning in my early years from my mother and then later on from a wise teacher in a village south of Thailand.

I relocated to Australia over 30 years ago and have also lived in the UK and Japan.  I furthered my massage education to be more clinical, completing my study in remedial massage therapy. Over the last decade I have honed my skills, and furthered my learnings, by working in allied health clinics.

I am excited to be joining the team at Connect and continuing my passion to help the local community through massage.

When I am not working I enjoy yoga, flamenco dancing, meditation, walking, reading, and I am an ongoing student of Tai chi and life!
