Clinical Pilates
Pilates is a form of physical exercise that focuses on posture, core stability, balance, control, strength, flexibility, and breathing. Clinical Pilates can be used in conjunction with our hands on physical therapies as a means of treating a variety of injuries, particularly those of the neck and back.
Clinical Pilates focuses on the retraining and recruitment of the spinal stabilising muscles, as well as improving posture, strength and flexibility. For Pilates to be most beneficial it needs to be specific to the individual. At Connect Health + Movement your clinical Pilates exercise program will be specifically tailored to you. We initially work with you in a 1:1 setting and take into account your current and previous injuries, your body type, and specific goals when tailoring your program.
As you improve and your goals change, so too will your program to ensure continued progression, satisfaction and optimisation of your health.
Our small group classes have a maximum of 4 participants and are run by osteopaths and myotherapists.
We have various classes through the week, from as early as 7am through to 7pm. For more detailed information about our current schedule and packages available, please speak to your treating practitioner or our reception team.
